Educational system

This term refers to the structure of all institutions that provide the opportunity to obtain education, this simple definition casts a shadow in which we overlook the absurd source of stress and mental illness it became in today's society.

Like everything else in this world , the educational system has its negatives and positives .But the focus of  today will be on the disadvantages  of it, since the advantages are already well known.

The significant two drawbacks are shown in the high levels of stress and lack of creativity.

Firstly ,the main focus within the educational institutions are the demanding academic standards and the achievement of high grades which sets an assessment for a student's value . Not only does it leave them in an anxious position in which they are constantly aspiring to fit into such unbelievable standards to prove themselves , but it also takes away their ability to dream as they become aware that the future will be determined by their grades.

For instance, If you ask a high schooler about their future career or about what they desire to study in college ,there is one answer that is most commonly heard “depends on my test result”.that is extremely disheartening to witness.Numbers determine the path of life for students.

Not to mention the mental breakdown some students experience once they fail, they doubt and disappointment once they see how all of the efforts they put in weren't good enough  . 

Secondly ,creativity is often overlooked in the education system , decreasing students ability to express themselves and their own personal thoughts .It is expected from students to follow determined rules and guidelines ,which unfortunately leaves a little room for imagination and thinking outside of the box.This lack of freedom creativity cause a lack of individualisms in today's society ,it also limits their abilities to think critically , adapt to new situation , and solve problem. 

Additionally , schools restrict from exploring a student's unique talents and passion as they are worrying about the expectation they must meet.

After all said ,I personally think the education system is rigid , it is discouraging to students ,it does not assist the young to think freely, it prohibits numerous opportunities that could develop from the students and generations.Instead of being a foundation for the person, it becomes an obstacle in the journey of finding one's self.
